Sembada 188, a high-yielding rice variety developed in Indonesia, enters the second phase of pilot testing in Brunei Darussalam.
Sembada 188 has already undergone a series of trials in Brunei since 2015. It has proven to be highly adapted to the country’s environmental conditions and also has a good taste and texture.
The variety is part of the collaborative effort between the two countries that aims to develop Brunei’s rice sector.
